Collaboration

  1. Wow, Jerome what a fantastic video project! I really felt that the live video shots of students and teachers are used to drive home what collaboration looks like in a k-12 environment. You provide a solid mix of student and teacher interviews that are quite effective at driving home your point. The only question that I would have is are you introducing a key note speaker? I believe we were to use this as a mock introduction of a key note speaker. However, this is a nit picking observation as the overall project is very well done. Great job.

  2. Jermone,

Awesome job! I especially liked how you demonstrate collaboration through your project. I like how you use interviews and everyone talks about tools for collaboration online. You are explaining collaboration and supporting your subject through a real project, excellent. You have provided me with some great ideas that I can bring into my own classroom and those which I can utilize in the collaboration of group members in my own club focused on environmental learning. One part of the video that was very successful was your use of the interview to introduce real world collaboration and the use of online tools for collaboration. You did an excellent job providing the information and your video flowed very well. While watching your video, I wondered about using online tools in developing collaboration for my students.

Excellent job, I enjoyed your video and learned from it also!

  4. After our conversation on skype and viewing each others video, I especially liked the aspect that you had such a variety of people (students and staff) contribute to your topic of collaboration. You did a very nice job on that. One of the suggestions was to include a guest speaker at end of video. Otherwise, it was nicely done and well thought out.
